Our Education-Training Policy

Our university's education-training policy is based on the following principles.

1. Acquisition of Vocational and Technical Skills: All programs of our university are based on the acquisition of vocational and technical skills. A competency-based education approach is adopted in the acquisition of skills, and education-training is carried out in line with predetermined competencies. The competencies determined by the Bologna Information Packages prepared by taking into account the Turkish Competencies Framework and the teaching and evaluation approach aimed at acquiring these competencies have been adopted.

2. Acquisition of Human Skills: Our university aims to provide basic human skills and values ​​to its students. Within the scope of the "Ahi Culture and Professional Ethics" course, which is included in all programs of our university, it is aimed to provide the basic values ​​of our culture in addition to universal human skills.

3. Student-Centered Approach: In the acquisition of vocational-technical and human skills, students' development, needs and individual differences are taken into consideration; students' opinions and expectations are taken into consideration in the planning, implementation and evaluation processes of education and training.

4. Inclusive Understanding in Education and Training: The principle of inclusiveness has been adopted in our university. According to this principle, equal opportunities are provided to all students. In addition, additional services are provided to disadvantaged groups to support their development.

5. Quality Assurance System in Education and Training: Our university adopts a competency-based quality assurance system in education and training processes. In this context, the "Ahi Competency-Based Education Portal" (AYDEP) developed by our university is effectively used in face-to-face and distance education processes.

6. Hybrid Education: In education and training processes, face-to-face and distance education models are used together depending on the conditions. Our university has a strong technological infrastructure that enables the planning, implementation and evaluation of distance education processes.

Kırşehir Ahi Evran University's Internationalization Policy is based on the following principles.

Our Environment and Energy Policy Our University aims to contribute to the fight against global warming and climate change by protecting and improving the environment, within the scope of the relevant legal obligations and other compliance criteria, in accordance with the principle of environmental awareness. In line with this purpose; It adopts the efficient use of energy, the dissemination of waste recycling activities, and the creation of awareness on energy efficiency and the environment as principles.
Our Circular Economy Policy
Kırşehir Ahi Evran University's circular economy policy is based on the following principles.

Waste Management; Waste management is implemented on our university campuses. Within the framework of the circular economy policy, there are guidelines and instructions for managing waste, and it encourages its stakeholders and employees in the ecosystem for recycling, solid waste disposal, composting from food and greenhouse waste, protecting water by reusing it and preventing waste.

Carbon Neutral Studies; Our university, which adopts the principle of environmental awareness (protecting nature, land use, afforestation), adopts and supports studies that will minimize its carbon footprint as a culture.

Purchasing Management; In all units of our university, an approach has been adopted to purchase in a way that provides energy saving, is suitable for reuse to prevent waste, is compostable, is water and energy efficient and ensures efficient use of resources. Social Responsibility Studies; Our university bases itself on a livable Environment and Energy Policy by considering the society and the environment. In this context, it has adopted the principle of conducting education, research and development, and social responsibility studies in order to create a sustainable lifestyle in society with student communities, administrative and academic units, and stakeholders within its ecosystem.
Renewable Energy Management; Our University adopts the principle of a clean environment and sustainability. In this context, it carries out studies for energy efficiency, supports research on clean energy production from natural resources (solar energy panels, geothermal and hydrogen energy use), renewable energy use and new resource development.

Our Change Policy The University's change policy is determined by the University Quality Commission under the coordination of the Quality Management Coordinatorship. The change policy is aimed at applications covering quality, education-training, research and development, management and social contribution processes.
